How to Make Lemon Sesame Brussels Sprouts

Lemon Sesame Brussel Sprout recipe Provided By: The Stand

Ingredients

  • Brussels Sprouts (Halved & Ends Trimmed)  8 Cups
  • Red Onion & Apple Slaw  4 Cups
  • Lemon Sesame Vinaigrette  1 Cup
  • Feta Cheese 1/2 Cup
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds 1 Tablespoon

Method

Preheat oven to 450 Degrees. Coat Brussels Sprouts with Olive Oil and toss. Season with pinch of kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper. Roast on baking sheet in oven until crispy. Toss with Red Onion & Apple Slaw and Lemon Sesame Dressing. Top with Feta Cheese and Toasted Sesame Seeds. Serve Immediately.

Green Apple & Red Onion Slaw

  • Green Apples (Julienned into Strips)  2 Apple
  • Red Onion (Thinly Sliced)  ½ Onion
  • Cider Vinegar ¼ Cup
  • Italian Parsley  2 Tablespoons
  • Kosher Salt Heavy Pinch
  • Ground Black Pepper Heavy Pinch
  • Olive Oil  2 Tablespoon

Method: Julienne apples & thinly slice onions. Mix all ingredients together. Leave out on counter for 30 minutes

Lemon Sesame Vinaigrette

Makes 1 ½ Cups

  • Honey  1/2 cup
  • Fresh Lemon Juice  1/2 Cup
  • Toasted Sesame Oil  4 Tbl
  • Water  ¼ Cup
  • Kosher Salt  Heavy Pinch
  • Ground Black Pepper  Heavy Pinch
  • Olive Oil  1/2 Cup 

Method: Mix all ingredients except Olive Oil in bowl. Slowly add oil to emulsify, but do not over mix. If dressing becomes too thick add a little water to thin out.
