Every dish on the menu at Pho Saigon Pearl contains a taste of Vietnam’s city of Saigon, with recipes passed down from generations of cooks. Cooked for more than 17 hours with no MSG or gluten, the bone broth in this bowl of pho is what gives it a mouthwatering, meaty taste. There is a plentiful serving of rice noodles, making the dish both filling and satisfying. Topped with rare steak, cilantro and basil, it has just the right amount of flavor and protein without it being overbearing — thanks to the greens that add a fresh touch to the dish. @phosaigonpearl

Le Pain Quotidien’s Zucchini Noodle Pad Thai

Le Pain Quotidien offers a rich variety of organic meal options — from bread and pasta to omelets and tartines, the offerings found at this French cafe will not disappoint. I had a hard time deciding which dish to try, but the Zucchini Noodle Pad Thai sounded the most appealing to me. The freshly prepared zucchini noodles were a nice and healthy change to regular rice noodles and definitely added a refreshing touch to the dish. Topped with an assortment of organic chicken, red peppers, cabbage and arugula, the bowl provides all the kind of nutrients (potassium, fiber, vitamins A and C) that your body needs to live a happy, healthy life. For me, what sealed the deal was the sesame-cashew dressing. Delish!
