Get ready to claw your way to the top at the 2019 Newport Beach Lobsterfest!
If you didn’t get to celebrate National Lobster Day by indulging in a juicy fat lobster, join the 11th annual Lobsterfest at Newport Beach, taking place August 11, from 2 to 7 p.m., at the Newport Beach Civic Center Green (relocated from Newport Dunes Resort).
With a $65 general admission ticket, guests will be able to enjoy free parking, seating on the grass and better access to food vendors. VIP tickets, which are $150 each, include stage-front seating, all-you-can-eat whole Maine lobster, and complimentary wine and beer.
The event is a true celebration of summer, with fresh whole Maine lobster flown in that morning and prepared on-site, and served alongside New York strip steak, corn on the cob, red potatoes, salad, freshly baked sourdough rolls and dessert. Entertainment, including live music, dancing and a drawing for a big-screen TV, will keep the party going.
Since its launch 11 years ago, the Lobsterfest has donated proceeds to organizations such as the Newport Sunrise Rotary Club, Newport-Mesa Schools Foundation, Leadership Tomorrow and New Directions for Women.
All net proceeds for the 2019 Lobsterfest will benefit Make-A-Wish programs in Orange County and the Inland Empire, and Leadership Tomorrow. Make-A-Wish helps make dreams come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions, while Leadership Tomorrow is a program designed for informed citizens to learn more about their communities.
