Adventuresofanyfoodie Shares Her Perfect NY Foodie Adventure

T

here are a few food destinations that are always pegged as “Must-Visit.” Paris, New Orleans, Montreal, Austin and more; New York is undoubtedly on the top of that list. I’m a native New Yorker and there is an endless supply of food and dessert options, sometimes overwhelmingly so. I run the Instagram @adventuresofanyfoodie and have spent the past several years trying to scour out the best places in the Big Apple. I’m here to share my favorite food adventure spots with you to make your trip filled with yummy food, dessert and no stress!

1. Kerber’s Farm

309 WEST PULASKI ROAD | HUNTINGTON, NY 11743 | (631) 423-4400

First up is Kerber’s Farm (located in Huntington, Long Island); they have freshly made egg croissant sandwiches, donuts, mac and cheese & more! They even have a little farm in the back to enjoy your breakfast. My go-to is their B.E.C. on their cheddar biscuit (these sell out fast!) or buttery croissant.

2. Hold My Knots

353 WEST 14TH STREET | NEW YORK, NY 10014

Next up is Hold My Knots (located in New York City). They’re famous for their garlic knot sliders and you can choose to fill them with chicken parm, meatball parm, or pepperoni! The knots are palm-sized so you don’t have to feel too guilty on a non-cheat day! They also come with a side of tomato sauce for extra dipping goodness.

3. Emmy Squared Pizza

364 GRAND ST | BROOKLYN, NY 11211 | (718) 360-4535

My third pick is Emmy Squared Pizza  (located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn). They have crispy Detroit-style pizza (crust-lovers rejoice!) that is personal pan sized. My faves are The Emmy (filled with mozzarella, banana peppers & ranch) and the Classic. This place gets packed so try to come during off-hours.

4. Caked Up Cafe

40 S MAIN ST | NEW YORK CITY, NY | (845) 499-2929

My final choice is Caked Up (located in New City). They’re known for their extravagant cakes (like Nutella jars stacked on top) and creative cupcakes. Make sure to check out their breakfast cupcake–complete with bacon, pancakes, and maple syrup!
